Partnering up with the Roll Inn Eco Village we escape into the bamboo mazed backdrop that is Daxueshan National Park. Situated right above the fog line endless fleets of cloud condense around the cabin lodges and windy waterfall trails. In a place where you pick your breakfast right off the trees and fall asleep to a thousand newborn tree frogs, join us in this adventure collective experience.
Piercing through the perpetual mist of the Daxue mountain range is what locals have come to call 山脊 THE RIDGE. One of the highest and more treacherous peaks in central Taiwan, the bare granite summit of Yuanzui stands like a pure stone sentinel overlooking Taichung bay to the West. Between cliffside crawlspaces, fixed ropes, and wooden step ladders, the trek is not for the faint of heart. Accompanied by the mountain gurus of Roll Inn Eco-Village we send this singular monolith before the daily fog rolls in and all the glorious mountain mystery vanishes in the sunset mist.
Step inside the landscape of yoga and meditation retreats at Roll Inn Eco Village. We're on a pilgrimage where each breath brings you closer to when all is blissful and still. To where seeing the waterfall after a long journey, the first sip of morning coffee, dancing in starlit streets or seeing the face of a long lost friend all resound to a singular moment in time. Less of an exposition and more an ocular and acoustic kaleidoscope on shedding the self, connecting to others, and finding the bond we share within nature. Enhanced by foley sound capture and designed for headphone use. Namaste.
Our quest to discover organic lifestyle living in Taiwan's mountains led us up a serpentine single lane through cliffside pear farms, far above the pursuits of the city and deep into the misty woodlands of Dasyueshan National Park. Alone on a hilltop coexisting with the enveloping cloak of untamed bamboo forests is the Roll Inn Eco-Village, an impermeable shrine to weary travelers and anxious disciples of Mother Nature's mysteries. One of which lies hidden beneath the jungle floor, sprouting to an incredible length, and delicious beyond measure. Follow our investigation into unearthing the harvest of baby bamboo roots. A modern day hunter/gatherer crusade invoking environmental awareness and strengthening the resolve for green consciousness in a world dependent upon consumption.

High up beyond the foothills of Northwestern Myanmar lies a network of mountain villages enclosing a mysterious people genteel and equanimous, living off the land in pre-capitalistic harmony with more shades of green than you can possibly imagine. With a war-torn paperback copy of Orwell's first novel as our compass, we pushed our motorbike to its absolute limits. Bogged down in monk huts during thunderstorms, trekking across bamboo bridges to secret waterfall lairs, and racing to discover the unseen at every sunset along the oxen rider superhighway. Join us on our expedition; for "beauty is meaningless, until it is shared."

Theatre, dance, and music are an integral part of Indian subculture. When there is no stage for epic playwrights, or acoustic halls for Odissi dance troupes, the echoes of drums and sitars haunt the streets after weekend festivals and tear at the fabric of distinction between classes. Thanks to the generous support and help of Kala Academy in Goa and the National School of Drama in New Delhi for allowing us to make this film.
